This place recently went vegan and we were amazed how delicious the food is. It's all you can eat, the quality and quantity of the food is great, and the staff is superb. 5 / 5 btw the vegan chocolate milkshake is brilliant
MoreGreat deal for veg/vegan Indian buffet. Changed hands a few years ago, has gone totally vegan now, but prices are up from £4.99 to £6.99 for an all-you-can-eat deal. Still, a total bargain, so good that sometimes I just go in to eat dahl, rice and salad. The food is delicious, but all very mild, if you're looking for a more spicy curry. Highly recommend. In the centre of town near Brighton's famous laines.
MoreSuch a good buffet selection, food is always consistently amazing and is the first Indian place I've ever been to that does vegan mango lassi! So cheap for the amount of food you can get, all cooked fresh and the staff are so nice
MoreAn authentic taste of south India in Brighton. Delicious food. Lovely atmosphere. Nice people. I'll be back for more soon.
MoreWonderful vegan buffet, however, now has signs in the windows saying it’s under new management. Really sad to see that it’s not 100% vegan anymore, still has vegan options though.
MoreFood was cold and not very tasty. Service wss good. I guess it's ok for the price.
MoreReally good value for money (6.95) for an all you can eat place, good (vegan only) selection, so great for going to with friends with dietary requirements/allergies and I could happily live on the pakoras they serve there for life. It would be good if they could maybe rotate some of the dishes they serve there every now and then, but I guess the set dishes are why it’s so cheap. One of my favourite places to have lunch when I’m in the centre of the city.
MoreSuper affordable, £6.50 for all you can eat! And it's nice, fresh food, regularly topped up. Really tasty. Limited selection but it's enough for what you pay for definitely. Fresh salads too.
MoreI used to eat here when I lived in Brighton and was excited to come back again and let my husband and his family try it. Sadly the price has gone up and standard of food had dropped to a miserably low level. None of the food tasted of anything, everything was either stone cold or lukewarn, most was covered in a shed load of oil and the naan was so stale it could have been used as a ninja star. My husband said it was one of the worst meals he has ever eaten. The place was dead inside.A far cry from what it once was. Wasn't worth the money but wasn't worth wasting my breath complaining either.... Sad.Took my family out to an Indian restaurant tonight as I did not want this awful experience to tar the good name of Indian good!
MoreIm not a picky person. I would eat anything but never had this kind of food. The Worst food ever I ate in my life. There was only very few dishes and it was cold and looked very hygienic.
MoreWorst indian cuisine I've ever had. And I did the mistake of selecting buffet. So let me describe each dish on menu and how bad they are.1. Onion bhaji was too oily and soggy, really unhealthy2. Potato pakora was also too oily and aloo were also not cooked inside3. Sag aloo was okay but again potato wasn't cooked (was hard)4. Chickpea and potato curry had again too much of oil and was still edible5. Tarka dal was just tasting of Turmeric and also less cooked.6. Naan were horrible7. Rice were also less cooked but still edible8. They tried to make some desserts probably kheer but was horrible couldn't even eat it9. Papad were the only thing that I was happy withStrongly not recommend anyone to go specially Indians.
MoreGood value for money. I like the idea of a small menu, but well done. ✔️
All you can eat, awasemo vegan Indian cuisine.
Fantastic vegan/vegetarian buffet, really well priced and the food was great. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
MoreWhat a brilliant vegan life saver. I found them to be across the Street from my hotel and the food was tasty, varied and vegan. Pricing was just a flat out bargin and always seemed busy and very popular staff were very helpful and didn't pester, good range of drinks and I never had to wait long for a seat. I'd reccomend this place to anybody in need ofcwholesome Indian vegsn food.
MoreSuperb dining experience - great selection of dishes to suit different tastes. Didn't get 5* cos staff kept calling me 'Boss' which is one of my pet hates....
MoreCheap but honest vegan food, self service buffet, so very quick if you are in a rush. I have visited many times in the early evening and have never had to wait for a table
MoreLovely vegan buffet, always a must stop on a trip to Brighton. All you can eat and really yummy food.
MoreNice array of foods but mostly not very warm...need to spend a bit of dosh on warmer servers....otherwise ok for a cheap and quick delivery
MoreA bit hot
Vegan/vegetarian - yes.Authentic Indian taste - no!All you can eat @6.95 is ok if you like it, personally i didn't. There should be an option to taste the buffet menu, as there were 5 of us, and it turned out to be a 'not so good' experience. No offense.
MorePoor - got ill after eating here. I suggest avoid it; be aware current food hygiene score is 1/5
MoreIts good to have a vegan / vegitarian place to go. Head about it from others while at a conference, so it has word of mouth rep. Small but good for small groups or a quiet lunch
MoreI love this place now that it's full vegan. Their price is great considering it Brighton & the food really hits a spot. The staff are really friendly & look after their customers. I would recommend a visit here if you're look to eat somewhere on the cheap & need an all you can eat option.
MoreDelicious Indian food, all vegan and at a very good price. Best rice pudding ever.
MoreBest mango lassi in Brighton! In general, very good value for money
Watery, tasteless slop with questionable hygiene levels. Genuinely the worst Indian food I've ever eaten. I later discovered it has a reputation among the locals, so it's not just me.Pretty cheap, though.
MoreThe vegan buffet was very affordable with quite a few dishes. I felt that the food was not a true representation of Indian cuisine. My friend and I found that it completely lacked in flavour. The restaurant is just not fit for those who know what actual Indian food tastes like. The dessert was meant to be rice pudding but was a not so appetising mixture of rice, a lot of water and sugar. I don't think we'll be coming back.
MoreGreat place to fill up cheaply - the reviewers moaning about "real Indian food" don't get the concept of an affordable buffet. The onion bhajis and vegetable pakora were piping hot and the curries regularly refilled. We saw a myriad of people eating here from bodybuilders filling up on endless bowls of dhal to a family having a full-blown feast. Please don't bash small restaurants like this, they have their place in Brighton and are appreciated by many!
MoreOrdered on Deliveroo. Most bland and watery curry I've ever had in my life. Would not recommend. I feel bad for wasting money on this a microwave meal would've been better.
MoreSet price self-service Indian Vegetarian buffet. All dishes were well prepared and presented and full of flavour. Rice pudding and fresh fruit is available for sweet and the mins are accompanied by a large range of pickles, breads, salads etc.All in all, excellent value for money.
MoreBombay Aloo is a vegan Indian restaurant. It does a variety of curries and side dishes. It's a buffet style help yourself to all you can eat. There are a variety of drinks hot, cold soft drinks, milkshakes and alcoholic ones. It's £6.95 very reasonable. Good atmosphere
MoreThis has become a lunch venue for me and a couple of mates at work. Great value for money (£7 all you can eat). Quality is good, food is tasty and always piping hot. Friendly staff too 👍🏻
MoreGreat vegetarian restaurant. Love the onion bhaji.Reasonable prices. Amazing seating. It is a place to go to every now and then.
MoreExcellent Indian meals (spicy). The staff is warm and welcoming and the place is lovely and clean!
MoreAmazing freshly cooked food (all vegan) and very friendly staff, great value for money too! Would definitely recommend this place to all hungry vegans and non-vegans visiting Brighton.
MoreAll the couisines in buffet were actually not in the taste of Indian food. They have all the currys are only of potatoes. No Chapatis, even naan were from the ready to eat type that we can buy from any super store. Nothing is worthy to have here. Only thing a little bit good was the papad only :) . They don't even have good deserts. Nothing good as starter. We only visited here by seeing there vegan board and we were starving at that time. So overall if you are an Indian taste lover don't go there.
MoreAll you can eat vegan buffet for an amazing price. Everything is vegan even the milk shakes! Definitely worth it, we will be back!
MoreNice place but sometimes dishes are not very hot.
Great value but limited choice. Reasonable for what it is though - ie cheap Indian vegetarian food. Friendly service.
MoreGreat little place. The food is amazing. Best onion bargee I have ever had.
Good vegan Indian 🇮🇳 food. Some dishes are a bit too spicy for me and a bit greasy. Is a fix price for a buffet so you can eat whatever you want.
MoreThe food it’s really nice, the bread tastes like expired... the last time that I went I dared to say it, so I asked for more bread because it wasn’t the first time that happened to me, and the waiter told us that it was fresh and refused to change it... He was rude, and I don’t want to said racist... But that was how I felt treated.
MoreGreat value! Looking forward to the entire menu being vegan.
Exceptional value at £6.95 for all you can eat Vegan Indian buffet. Dishes include Bombay Aloo, vegetable curry, potato pakora and a lovely cauliflower curry cooked using coconut milk. However, a wise man once said that a restaurant's kitchen can be judged by its toilets and the toilet is in need of a really good clean and the stairs down to the toilet speak of a need to redecorate. That said I would eat there again as it has a nice atmosphere and I enjoyed the food.
MoreUtterly perfect always. I adore this place and will never forget it. Got me through uni without starving and yeah!
MoreGreat vegan Indian restaurant. The buffet is great value, the food was great.
Very nice owner went all the way for us as we stayed after closing time. Honest home cooked food for amazing value. Can't really go wrong if you like some seriously good veggie food. Highly recommended!
MoreDO NOT BUY FROM HERE! The korma is a bland vegetable soup with the consistency and transparency of water. The samosa has no filling and it's layers of undercooked pastry, the saag aloo is an incepid soup with no flavour. I threw the whole thing away. How Indian food can have so little flavour is beyond me. Absolutely disgusting food.
MoreIt's ok but sadly for me its now to expensive due to recent price increase for what is essentially cheap vegan food. And it's not organically sourced vegetables either, probably Cash n carry, Co-Op, Tescoes GM. Comfortable seating. One of the staff was a bit pushy gesturing to a tips plate which I thought to be rude and bullying nature, haven't been back.
